![]() FAQHow are shipping costs determined?Shipping & handling costs are fixed based on the print size and total number of prints ordered. Sales tax will automatically be charged on all items shipped within the state of California. Can I ship my New Editions to more than one address? Please place separate orders for each shipping address. If you would like, you can contact us for multiple shipping needs so we may help facilitate your order. What is a limited edition fine art print?A fine art edition is a unique work of art with a limited number of impressions. The edition has been a long-standing method for circulating art to larger audiences. At New Editions, most editions are limited to 100 — a small but standard run for fine art. Each edition comes with a numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. How does New Editions work with artists?New Editions commissions each artist to make five unique works. The artists are intimately involved in the proofing process to ensure that each print is authentic to their original work, and they receive three Artist Proof copies of each edition. They are paid for the initial commission and then a royalty for each print sold. How many copies of a New Edition may I purchase? We limit sales to no more than three of one print per household. This ensures that there is art from the start for everyone! Please contact us if you are interested in buying in larger quantities for gifts. How often does New Editions release new works? We release groups of artists twice a year, in fall and spring. In between we do special projects and editions... sign up for our newsletter and be the first to know! How do I care for my New Edition? We package each New Edition in an archival folio between two sheets of acid-free interleaving tissue to protect the surface of the print from abrasion, dirt and oil. In order to prevent damage to your print, please avoid touching the surface of the print and keep it safely tucked away in this package until you plan to frame it. We encourage you to custom frame your New Edition to ensure that it is properly handled and cared for. When talking to your framer, if you decide to mount your print or add a mat around it in the frame, use only acid free archival materials. A spacer should be used to ensure that the print does not touch the glass directly. Extreme humidity and temperature change can potentially deteriorate a work of art. When choosing where to place your New Edition, take care not to hang it on a wall that gets too much direct sunlight or near to a heating/cooling vent. We strongly suggest using UV-filtering glass or plexi. What is your returns policy? If you are not satisfied with a print, you may return it in good condition for a prompt refund, credit or exchange, less shipping charges, within 14 days of purchase. All prints must be returned in the condition that they were received in the original packaging. If a print is returned with any type of damage to the surface or edges of the print a refund will not be granted. Please mail your return and a copy of your invoice to: NEW EDITIONS, 453 S.
