ABOUT REBECCA'S WORK
In her work, Rebecca Katz combines her love for animals with a critical wit about the state of our world. Her juxtaposition of animals with inherently human text reminds us of the idiosyncrasies of our own human perspective. Some of Rebecca’s work uses these juxtapositions to comment on the need for social responsibility; another makes fun of a celebrity obsessed culture, while also speaking to the desire we all have to be loved and lauded for who we are.

Rebecca’s work revels in the wonder of our environment, the humor of language, and the need for greater collaboration and understanding between us all.
