MISSION STATEMENTNew Editions produces limited edition prints of contemporary art for children and their parents: sowing the seeds of a life-long relationship with art and culture. We commission each print from a working artist to reflect the vitality of contemporary culture. We produce visually interesting and developmentally appropriate works that support fundamental visual skills. We present art that is a part of an important cultural legacy of creativity, providing the foundations for a love of art of all kinds. A portion of our proceeds goes to support children and their communities. About UsNew Editions was founded by Patrick Lakey, and Lauren Miller, with the help of Jane Lakey, from their perspective perches in the world of art – artist, gallery director and art historian. They came together with an interest in thinking differently about where people might access art and what that experience might be. The birth of Patrick and Jane’s son, Everett, focused their attention on how he might experience and understand the art to which his parents had devoted their professional lives, and New Editions was born.
